BIRD DEPOSIT AGREEMENT

This is our bird deposit agreement that is required when you put a deposit down on an unweaned bird. If you are purchasing a bird directly from our retail store, you will be asked to complete & sign this form in person. When ordering an unweaned bird ONLINE, you will be required to read & electronically sign this form -a permanent copy will be generated for our records.

50% of purchase price (incl. tax) required for birds priced @ $200.00 & higher.

$50 Deposit required for Cockatiels & other birds priced @ $199.00 & less.

I am placing my deposit today in the amount of $_____________for a baby bird that has not yet weaned. (Weaned: when a bird is eating completely on its own without the necessity of being fed hand-feeding formula with a syringe). Once my bird has "weaned", I will be contacted by Oasis Exotic Birds, LLC at the contact #'s provided above) to let me know that my bird has weaned & I understand that I have 3 days in which to pay the balance in full & pick up my bird or have it shipped. If I am not available to do so, I authorize the person named below to pick up & pay for my bird in my adsence. I understand & agree that in the event that I do not pay my balance & pickup my bird within the 3 days, that I will forfeit my bird that was placed on deposit and that this bird will then immediately go to the next available customer & I will forfeit any & all payments made. This contract can be cancelled within 24 hours. If I wish to cancel, I must contact Oasis Exotic Birds, LLC by phone, during regular business hours (within 24 hrs from date & time of this contract). If I do not cancel during this time, I understand & agree that I will forfeit my initial deposit. No exceptions will be made. I also understand that the bird must be PAID IN FULL (no partial payments accepted) at the time of pickup or shipping. If being shipped, your payment must be made prior to the shipping date so that funds have cleared our bank beforehand. We accept Credit/Debit cards & cash payments, sorry but we do not accept Money Orders/Cashiers Checks or personal checks.

At Oasis Exotic Birds, LLC. We want all of our baby birds to go to their new homes with their new families just as soon as they are weaned. It is imperative for the bonding process of the baby bird to its new environment & new family. This is why we have this policy in place so that the bird is not left sitting in our bird store, when it could have been placed with another family during this time.
