A lot of people are faced with the excruciatingly hard decision to RE-HOME their bird & with these tough economic times the decision is one of necessity. We understand this at OASIS AVIARY. We know that it DOES COST MONEY to house, feed & care for a bird properly & we know that although it's nice, they JUST CAN'T LIVE ON LOVE ALONE. There are sometimes VET BILLS, and we all know that Avian Medicine can be quite expensive if you don't have PET MEDICAL COVERAGE. And with all the birds out there that we read about in the newspapers and on line it just rips our heart out to know that birds are sometimes given away to individuals that have no bird experience & worse yet haven't the means to take care of themselves, let alone a bird. And then he is tossed from one home to another home, and once he gets settled in a new baby comes and he has to go 'again', you get the picture. Well, we want to help you in your time of need.
So, if you have a bird that you have recently purchased, either from us or from another breeder or Pet Store- or if you have a senior bird that you are faced with ultimate decision of having to find it a good home, where people will have the time & the know-how to care for your bird, then look no further. We accept all birds for surrender @ OASIS AVIARY from canaries to cockatoos! We have ample space & cages to keep them in. We are not a RESCUE or SHELTER & you will never have to worry about your bird being sold, or re-homed to someone else. We will keep them here, care for them here, and give them the very best of care!

We are planning to construct a very large outdoor aviary, called the "BIRDIE HAVEN HABITAT" in SPRING/SUMMER 2010, in which school children can come visit & view all types of birds (lrg/Sm species separated) in a natural environment, complete with waterfalls & jungle ropes, vines & natural plant life! And with your donations & your help with donated supplies we will be able to create a beautiful outdoor OASIS for surrendered & in need adopted birds!

Please note: That under no circumstances will any bird that is surrendered to OASIS AVIARY be used in our breeding program. All of our CURRENT & FUTURE breeders come from exclusive breeder blood lines & we will not combine our breeders with your surrendered PET BIRDS. They will be housed in two separate locations here at Oasis Aviary. Due to the possible spread of Avian viruses, we cannot accept any sick birds @ Oasis Aviary.
