Temperature Restrictions Continental Airlines can ship ALL year around. There are no temperature restrictions at most of their airports. They have a different shipping system than Delta. Delta ONLY ships if outdoor temperature upon arrival is between 40 degrees and 85 degrees. I try to use Delta as much as possible because it is cheaper. I use Continental only if there is severe weather. Both are safe. Parrotlets are not shipped with luggage but in their own room on plane. They will not come out on the baggage carousel, a rep carries the carrier out and it is delivered to the ticket counter or cargo facility.
